Happy Birthday to Matthew Fox, who’s turning 41 today, July 14!

He captured our hearts as the eldest brother, taking care of his brothers and sisters after their parents were killed, in “Party of Five.” Now he’s gotten our attention again as natural leader Dr. Jack Shephard on NBC’s “LOST.”

From the moment he stepped out of the wreckage of Oceanic Flight 815 onto the island that houses the “Losties,” he’s caused many women to swoon, both on the island (namely Kate, Ana Lucia, and perhaps Juliet) and off-screen.

He’s a graduate of Columbia University and New York’s prestigious Atlantic Theater Company. He was raised in Crowheart, Wyoming his family’s ranch, and now lives in Oahu, Hawaii because it’s where “LOST” is filmed. This country boy has become a woman’s tropical dream, and his wife, Margherita Ronchi, is sure to agree. The couple has been married for 15 years!

In the meantime, L’Oreal Paris has chosen Fox as the new spokesman for their Men Expert line. They know a hunk when they see one!
