LeAnn Rimes: Teen Singer Turns 25!
We’ve watched this girl grow up a star. Her songbird vocals captured the hearts of the nation when she was merely 13 years old, with her sweet rendition of “Blue,” complete with her unique yodeling. At age 14 LeAnn was named Best New Artist of 1997 at the 1997 Grammy Awards, making her the youngest person to win the award.
Now she’s all grown up, and a quarter of a century old today. With over a dozen albums under he belt, she’s still wowing fans with her strong vocals.
To show how versatile she is, this country gal recently recorded a song with the rock n’ roll band, Bon Jovi, called “Till We Ain’t Strangers Anymore,” featured on their album “Lost Highway.”
Happy Birthday, LeAnn!
