Hollywood Birthday

Idina Menzel, star of Broadway’s Wicked and Rent, celebrated her 37th birthday yesterday, and I couldn’t help posting a belated birthday wish since she’s one of my favorites.

You can see Idina and the original cast of the Broadway musical Rent on the The American Theatre Wing’s 2008 Tony Awards, June 15. The cast is coming together to celebrate the 12 years the show has been on Broadway, as it will be closing in September. The performance will air on CBS during the awards night, which begins at 8/7c.
