It looks as though Tom Cruise took his wife Katie Holmes out for a special birthday night at the Raffles L’Ermitage hotel in Beverly Hills, the evening of her birthday, Tuesday, December 18.
Earlier in the day she was spotted out shopping with Suri.

Katie Holmes spent her birthday (December 18) Christmas shopping with her adorable daughter, Suri. (I tried posting this yesterday when I first received word, but the photos weren’t showing correctly.)
Why the green marks on Suri’s dress? It was reported that Suri spent some time at a kids’ club in Beverly Hills, so she probably got some paint or frosting on her dress. Katie doesn’t look too stressed, though!
One thing I can’t help but wonder, though: Where is Suri’s coat? It was a rainy and chilly day!

Katie Holmes, who became known for her role as Joey Potter on the WB series “Dawson’s Creek,” as well as her role as Tom Cruise’s wife and mother of Suri, celebrates her 29th birthday today, December 18th! I wonder what she’s got planned for her special day?
I do miss the oft-smiling Katie, whose smile we seem to see less and less these days, but I hope her birthday is amazing!
